Module 8: Finding Evidence
This module provides an introduction to the principles of evidence based practice and an overview on how to find evidence based guidelines and/or evidence related to wound care.
By the end of the module you should be able to:
- understand the meaning of ‘evidence’, ‘evidence based practice’ and ‘evidence based guidelines’
- identify differences between levels of evidence
- identify simple search strategies and where to find evidence based guidelines and evidence related to wound management
- provide examples of how to implement evidence into practice.
